The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that traffic signal replacement is scheduled on Rockhill Drive in Bensalem Township under PennDOT’s $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, April 28, through Friday, May 2, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, intermittent lane closures with flaggers will be in place in both directions on Rockhill Drive between Overlook Boulevard and Neshaminy Boulevard.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
